Toco (José Luis Gioia), a local who lives away from everything, finds Vicente (Gastón Pauls), a man from the city, wounded in the snow, who was going to Chile, and gives him shelter until he heals. Their quiet relationship, which little by little approaches friendship, is altered by the appearance of a man (Victor Laplace), who offers Toco a million dollars for his lands.
